Sunday Beach Day, Day 3

Today was a nice lazy Sunday. I went to Maho Beach with one of the other guests from Shrimpy's, Candice, we swam for a bit and enjoyed some people watching too. Then we grabbed a beer from the Driftwood Boat Bar and watched a couple of planes coming in to land and a couple more take off.

Afterwards we got a bus back to Marigot. we had seen some people grilling some chicken on the way to the beach and we decided to stop by and get some for lunch. The chicken was relatively cheap and quite good. We then back to Shrimpy's to clean up and relax for the rest of the day. I enjoy watching the boats come through the channel behind Shrimpy's, there is always quite the variety.

I really enjoyed the beach and swimming in the nice salty Caribbean water, it was nice to be able to just float without even trying. Oh yeah, my pale self got a bit of sunburn despite wearing sunscreen. I'll be sure to apply more often next time but thankfully I have a bottle of Aloe to help with the burns.
